The Invitation
I invite you to tune into the frequency of harmony. What IS harmony? One of the definitions of harmony is; internal calm and tranquility. How do we find that? What does that journey look like? How can harmony help us find a healthy body, mind and life.
When attempting to find a path to harmony, we must look at the body as a whole… mind & body. It has now been scientifically proven, the mind and body can not be separated. One of the original definition of Health was “wholeness”. In order to have good health we must look at the whole body and address the conscious and other than conscious mind/body programs and patterns. We must look at the patterns that occurred that got us where we are today.
We as humans have learned patterns to adapt to our environment along with patterns to survive. Often the patterns of adaptation and survival keep us in the fight, flight or freeze sympathetic response. Though the fight, flight or freeze responses are natural and necessary at times, it puts us in a state of dis-ease. This alert system can not only create dis-ease but disruption in signals and cells when kept in this state of being for long periods of time. It creates holding patterns, areas of tension in the body, and memories that the other than conscious mind may respond to as trauma. In these areas of holding where tissue does not move; blood, lymph & nutrients cannot move through or come in, it limits freedom in mobility, healing, vitality and good health.
In our journey to find harmony, it becomes necessary to develop a sense of what is congruent and incongruent in our mind/body. Often people will notice that their conscious mind will desire one thing but the other than conscious mind will desire or do something else. When the Conscience mind and the other than conscience mind are not in the same rhythm (do not agree) it is incongruent in our cells creating disruption which
takes us out of alignment with health and integrity, and interrupts healing.
I believe harmony in our tissue/body is when the cells sing. They synergistically work with each other, versus the sympathetic stress response of fight, Flight or freeze. I believe in the idea, that healing is to bring back to original function (original function does not necessarily mean original form) What that looks like or means is different for everyone.
We can learn to become aware of the things that take us out of our alignment by tuning into the body. When we tune into the body; by listening, feeling, releasing, and compassionately loving & honoring our bodies, we can learn to identify the things that create congruency with our own alignment. Bringing harmony into our body we are tuning into and can become aware of, our most authentic selves.
Shakespeare wrote “to thine own self be true”
Living our own authentic selves in life can deepen our relationship to our body/mind. It also moves us deeper to connect to our truth. It help us answer some of these questions; Who are you? Why are you here? What is your purpose?
Finding purpose and purposefully living helps us live with integrity. Living with integrity can increase our passion for life. Passionately living life raises our vibration. Through raising our vibration we can find Joy. When we are in a place of Joy we feel love…accept love… are loving…in that loving, we find peace. Living life that is full of love, peace and joy we can find meaning.
At Harmony BMW I believe this process is a journey. The journey can be supported with intention and integrity. Whether through mindful movement like Pilates, yoga, Surfset or any other movement pattern, Or through energy sessions like Theta healing, or Reiki. Together we start to ask the questions. How do we choose to go through the motions & Moments in life? Can we move from point A) to point B) With intention and integrity? How do we show up each day? Can we be in a place of struggle and just be? and then can we let it go and move on?
I believe the body speaks its own language. Each and every body is different & unique but yet there are patterns, programs and languages that are similar. Part of the journey in knowing our most authentic selves is learning “our” body language & how the body is wanting to communicate. Also what makes the body feel safe to come back to “wholeness”…to find Harmony. So I invite you to tune into the frequency of harmony.
